My academic background includes a Bachelor of Integrated Studies from the University of Waterloo, a Masters of Adult Education from the University of Toronto and a Diploma from the Toronto Institute of Relational Psychotherapy. I am currently a clinical member of The Ontario Society of Psychotherapists and have served on their Board of Directors. I am also an associate of York Region Psychological Services.
My career path has been a varied one. I've worked for a decade as a public speaker talking to groups across Canada about the role of humour in our lives. I've run a college, worked as a career counsellor, written text books, worked in Human Resources and taught school in Mexico.
I've also experienced life, like everyone else, with all its ups and downs. Throughout the years, I've entered therapy myself with some amazing psychotherapists who have helped me through tough times. Not only did they help me gain insight into myself and my patterns, they also helped me live my life in a more integrated way...where my values, my personality, my career and my relationships live in sync.
